Robert E. Agus

Rob Agus is the President of Robert Agus Development, LLC. Rob has extensive experience in the private, public and non-profit sectors as a developer, a technical consultant, an attorney, and a policy analyst. Much of his professional experience has been directed toward the creative solution of societal problems, principally in the areas of urban development, affordable housing, and citizen and community empowerment. He has been involved in the development and preservation of thousands of units of affordable housing serving families, the elderly and the homeless. Rob is also skilled in putting together creative financing packages that enable low and moderate-income persons and communities to develop and own communities of quality.

The Robert Agus Development Co. is currently working on a variety of projects including: developing two senior cooperatives; assistance to community based groups that are in the process of developing affordable assisted living facilities; assistance to several sponsors of Section 202 independent senior housing who wish to prepay existing loans and use the proceeds to increase their ability to serve seniors; enabling non profit owners of nursing homes who wish to expand their campuses to provide additional facilities and services; and working with community sponsors to expand homeownership opportunities for lower income families by developing residential cooperatives.
